Pellet Therapy

Hormone pellets are implanted under the skin, typically in your upper gluteal area or hip. These pellets are the size of a grain of rice and contain custom hormone doses that gradually get absorbed and metabolized over the course of three to six months.

Pellet therapy is a convenient way of administering hormones as patients do not need to remember to take their medications on a daily basis. Instead, pellets require a simple outpatient procedure 2-4 times per year.

They dissolve slowly and consistently over the course of several months based on a patient’s own metabolism and activity level. This allows for superior therapeutic outcomes.
